These are organic compounds containing a sequence of exactly two alpha-amino acids joined by a peptide bond. (s)-{[(2s,3s,4s)-2-amino-1,4-dihydroxy-4-(5-hydroxypyridin-2-yl)-3-methylbutylidene]amino}[(2r,3s,4r)-5-(4-formyl-2-hydroxyimidazol-1-yl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]acetic acid is found in Streptomyces ansochromogenes. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S)-2-{[(2S,3S,4S)-2-amino-1,4-dihydroxy-4-(5-hydroxypyridin-2-yl)-3-methylbutylidene]amino}-2-[(2R,3S,4R)-5-(4-formyl-2-hydroxy-1H-imidazol-1-yl)-3,4-dihydroxyoxolan-2-yl]acetic acid. |
