| Description | 12Beta,14,19-Trihydroxy-3beta-(6-deoxy-beta-D-allopyranosyloxy)-5alpha-card-20(22)-enolide belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cardenolide glycosides and derivatives. Cardenolide glycosides and derivatives are compounds containing a carbohydrate glycosidically bound to the cardenolide moiety. 4-[(1r,3as,3br,5as,7s,9ar,9bs,11r,11as)-3a,11-dihydroxy-9a-(hydroxymethyl)-11a-methyl-7-{[(2r,3r,4r,5s,6r)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}-tetradecahydrocyclopenta[a]phenanthren-1-yl]-5h-furan-2-one is found in Asclepias curassavica. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 12beta,14,19-Trihydroxy-3beta-(6-deoxy-beta-D-allopyranosyloxy)-5alpha-card-20(22)-enolide. |
