Description1,2:4,5-Di-O-isopropylidene-beta-L-fructopyranose belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dioxolopyrans. Dioxolopyrans are compounds containing a dioxolopyran moiety, which consists of a dioxole ring fused to a pyran ring. (3as,6r,7r,7ar)-2,2,5',5'-tetramethyl-tetrahydrospiro[[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-c]pyran-6,2'-[1,4]dioxolan]-7-ol is found in Juglans regia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1,2:4,5-Di-O-isopropylidene-beta-L-fructopyranose.
