These are dihydrofurans with a carbonyl group at the C2 carbon atom. 7-(hex-4-enoyl)-3-hydroxy-8-(3-hydroxy-2,4-dimethyl-5-oxofuran-2-yl)-5-(1-hydroxyhexa-2,4-dien-1-ylidene)-1,3-dimethylbicyclo[2.2.2]octane-2,6-dione is found in Trichoderma citrinoviride. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 7-(hex-4-enoyl)-3-hydroxy-8-(3-hydroxy-2,4-dimethyl-5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-2-yl)-5-(1-hydroxyhexa-2,4-dien-1-ylidene)-1,3-dimethylbicyclo[2.2.2]Octane-2,6-dione. |
