| Description | 2-(2,5-Dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 7-o-methylated flavonoids. These are flavonoids with methoxy groups attached to the C7 atom of the flavonoid backbone. 2-(2,5-dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxychromen-4-one is found in Gardenia carinata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(2,5-dihydroxy-3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-4H-chromen-4-one. |
