| Description | Isovalerylalkannin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as naphthoquinones. Naphthoquinones are compounds containing a naphthohydroquinone moiety, which consists of a benzene ring linearly fused to a bezene-1,4-dione (quinone). (1s)-1-(5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxonaphthalen-2-yl)-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl 3-methylbutanoate is found in Arnebia decumbens, Arnebia euchroma, Arnebia hispidissima and Lithospermum erythrorhizon. (1s)-1-(5,8-dihydroxy-1,4-dioxonaphthalen-2-yl)-4-methylpent-3-en-1-yl 3-methylbutanoate was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 17080496). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on isovalerylalkannin (PMID: 35709606) (PMID: 30449173) (PMID: 27061885) (PMID: 25973485). |
