| Description | (1R,2E,10E,14R)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-7,11,15,15-tetramethylbicyclo[12.1.0]Pentadeca-2,6,10-trien-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cembrane diterpenoids. These are diterpenoids with a structure based a cembrane skeleton, which is characterized by the presence of an isopropyl group at C-1 and by three symmetrically disposed methyl groups a the t C-4, -8 and -12 positions. (1r,2e,6e,10e,14r)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-7,11,15,15-tetramethylbicyclo[12.1.0]pentadeca-2,6,10-trien-4-one is found in Euphorbia pekinensis. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,2E,10E,14R)-3-(hydroxymethyl)-7,11,15,15-tetramethylbicyclo[12.1.0]Pentadeca-2,6,10-trien-4-one. |
