| Description | Tricycloalternarene 11b belongs to the class of organic compounds known as sesquiterpenoids. These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 6-(7-hydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl)-11-methoxy-3-methyl-2-oxatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]trideca-1(9),5-dien-10-one is found in Alternaria alternata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Tricycloalternarene 11b. |
