These are terpenes with three consecutive isoprene units. 2-{[2-(5,6-dihydroxy-6-methylheptan-2-yl)-5-hydroxy-5-methylcyclopent-2-en-1-yl]methyl}-3-hydroxy-4-methoxycyclohex-2-en-1-one is found in Alternaria alternata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on BCA 7. |
