DescriptionPinusolidic acid, also known as pinusolidate, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene lactones. These are diterpenoids containing a lactone moiety. Pinusolidic acid is found in Agathis macrophylla, Calocedrus formosana, Platycladus orientalis and Taiwanofungus camphoratus. It was first documented in 2006 (PMID: 16643055). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on pinusolidic acid (PMID: 28691856).
