DescriptionDicrotaline belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyrrolizines. Pyrrolizines are compounds containing a pyrrolizine moiety, which consists of a pyrrole ring fused to a pyrrolidine ring. Dicrotaline is found in Crotalaria globifera and Crotalaria lachnosema. It was first documented in 2022 (PMID: 35868852).
