Nerylacetate is found in Abies sibirica, Acorus calamus, Artemisia scoparia, Ceratitis capitata, Citrus limon, Citrus reticulata, Citrus wilsonii, Coriandrum sativum, Eupatorium fortunei, Juniperus communis, Rhododendron tomentosum, Machilus japonica, Piper aduncum, Thapsia villosa and Thymus vulgaris. 3,7-Dimethyl-2,6-octadien-1-ylacetate is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa).
