Description | Formosanol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as aryltetralin lignans. These are lignans with a structure based on the 1-phenyltetralin skeleton. Formosanol is found in Juniperus formosana and Lepidothamnus intermedius. It was first documented in 2017 (PMID: 28581744). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Formosanol. |
