DescriptionIristectorigenin a 7-o-glucoside belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoflavonoid o-glycosides. These are o-glycosylated derivatives of isoflavonoids, which are natural products derived from 3-phenylchromen-4-one. Thus, iristectorigenin a 7-O-glucoside is considered to be a flavonoid. Iristectorin A is found in Centipeda minima, Iris domestica, Iris germanica, Iris kemaonensis and Iris spuria. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Iristectorigenin a 7-o-glucoside.
