These are organic aromatic compounds containing a monocyclic benzene moiety carrying exactly two methoxy groups. 3,5-Dimethoxybenzylalcohol was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 14660352). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on 3,5-Dimethoxybenzyl alcohol (PMID: 28144340) (PMID: 20827974).
