Description5,7-Di-O-methylquercetin belongs to the class of organic compounds known as flavonols. Flavonols are compounds that contain a flavone (2-phenyl-1-benzopyran-4-one) backbone carrying a hydroxyl group at the 3-position. It was first documented in 2002 (PMID: 11827573). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 5,7-Di-O-methylquercetin.
