Description | 8-[2-(5,7-Dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-2-yl)-5-hydroxyphenyl]-5,7-dihydroxy-6-(2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-en-1-yl)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 6-prenylated flavones. These are flavones that features a C5-isoprenoid substituent at the 6-position. 6''-(2-hydroxy-3-methyl-3-butenyl)-amentoflavone is found in Garcinia bakeriana. It was first documented in 2022 (PMID: 35501128). Based on a literature review a significant number of articles have been published on 8-[2-(5,7-dihydroxy-4-oxo-4H-chromen-2-yl)-5-hydroxyphenyl]-5,7-dihydroxy-6-(2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-en-1-yl)-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-chromen-4-one (PMID: 35501127) (PMID: 35501126) (PMID: 35501125) (PMID: 35501124). |
