These are naphthalene derivatives carrying one or more hydroxyl (-OH) groups at any ring position. 2,5,8-Trimethyl-1-naphthol is found in Rhaponticum carthamoides . 2,5,8-Trimethyl-1-naphthol was first documented in 2008 (PMID: 18404321). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2,5,8-TRIMETHYL-1-NAPHTHOL.
