Description(2E)-3-[(7R,8R)-8-(2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbenzoyloxy)-7-hydroxy-7-methyl-6-oxo-7,8-dihydro-6H-isochromen-3-yl]prop-2-enoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as p-hydroxybenzoic acid alkyl esters. These are aromatic compounds containing a benzoic acid, which is esterified with an alkyl group and para-substituted with a hydroxyl group. (+)-Mitorubrinic acid B is found in Penicillium funiculosum IFO 6345 and Talaromyces funiculosus. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E)-3-[(7R,8R)-8-(2,4-dihydroxy-6-methylbenzoyloxy)-7-hydroxy-7-methyl-6-oxo-7,8-dihydro-6H-isochromen-3-yl]prop-2-enoic acid.
