DescriptionClasto-lactacystin beta-lactone, also known as c-lact compound, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as alpha amino acids and derivatives. These are amino acids in which the amino group is attached to the carbon atom immediately adjacent to the carboxylate group (alpha carbon), or a derivative thereof. (-)-Omuralide is found in Salinispora tropica. (-)-Omuralide was first documented in 2014 (PMID: 25079948). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on clasto-lactacystin beta-lactone (PMID: 32956808) (PMID: 29038220) (PMID: 25063852).
