DescriptionLantanilic acid, also known as lantanilate, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as triterpenoids. These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. (+)-Lantanilic acid is found in Lantana camara, Lantana camara L. , Lantana cujabensis, Lippia turbinata and Tilesia baccata. (+)-Lantanilic acid was first documented in 2013 (PMID: 23961713). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on lantanilic acid (PMID: 33848915) (PMID: 30675937) (PMID: 24827681).
