Description(10R,11R,15S)-15-hydroxy-12-oxo-10-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-4,6,13-trioxatetracyclo[7.7.0.0³,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Hexadeca-1,3(7),8-trien-11-yl acetate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as lignan lactones. These are lignans that contain a lactone moiety. They include 1-aryltetralin lactones, dibenzylbutyrolactone lignans, and podophyllotoxins, among others. (+)-Erlangerin D is found in Commiphora erlangeriana . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (10R,11R,15S)-15-hydroxy-12-oxo-10-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-4,6,13-trioxatetracyclo[7.7.0.0³,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Hexadeca-1,3(7),8-trien-11-yl acetate.
