Description(1S,4aS,6R,8aS)-1-[(3S)-5-hydroxy-3-methylpentyl]-5,5,8a-trimethyl-6-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpene glycosides. These are diterpenoids in which an isoprene unit is glycosylated. (-)-3,15-Dihydroxy-ent-labd-7-en-oic acid 3-O-beta-D-glucoside is found in Eupatorium glutinosum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,4aS,6R,8aS)-1-[(3S)-5-hydroxy-3-methylpentyl]-5,5,8a-trimethyl-6-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid.
