DescriptionCardonol 13 belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 1-hydroxy-4-unsubstituted benzenoids. These are phenols that are unsubstituted at the 4-position. Cardonol 13 is found in Lanea edulis and Lannea edulis. It was first documented in 2003 (PMID: 12713423). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on cardonol 13.
