Rotundiquinone is found in Diospyros batocana, Diospyros discolor, Diospyros ismailii, Diospyros natalensis and Diospyros rotundifolia. 5,8'-Dihydroxy-6',7-dimethyl-1H,1'H,4H,4'H-[2,2'-binaphthalene]-1,1',4,4'-tetrone is an extremely weak basic (essentially neutral) compound (based on its pKa). |
