Cardenolide glycosides and derivatives are compounds containing a carbohydrate glycosidically bound to the cardenolide moiety. (+)-Cheiranthoside V is found in Erysimum cheiranthoides and Erysimum chelranthoides. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R,4S,6R)-3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5R,6S)-3,4-dihydroxy-6-methyl-5-{[(2R,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-6-{[(1S,2S,5S,7S,10R,11S,14R,15R)-2-formyl-7,11-dihydroxy-15-methyl-14-(5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)tetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-5-yl]oxy}-2-methyloxan-4-yl acetate. |
