Description(4R)-4-hydroxy-L-arginine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as l-alpha-amino acids. These are alpha amino acids which have the L-configuration of the alpha-carbon atom. 4-Hydroxyarginine is found in Anthrophopleura japonica, Lens culinaris and Polycheira ruescens. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R)-4-hydroxy-L-arginine.
