Common NameTetrahydrobungeanool
DescriptionTetrahydrobungeanool belongs to the class of organic compounds known as n-acyl amines. N-acyl amines are compounds containing a fatty acid moiety linked to an amine group through an ester linkage. Thus, tetrahydrobungeanool is considered to be a fatty amide. Tetrahydrobungeanool is found in Zanthoxylum bungeanum , Zanthoxylum integrifoliolum, Zanthoxylum intergrifoliolum and Zanthoxylum schinifolium. Tetrahydrobungeanool was first documented in 2013 (PMID: 24106759). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Tetrahydrobungeanool (PMID: 27782100).
