Description[(1S,2R,5S,7S,10R,11S,14R,15R)-2-formyl-11-hydroxy-15-methyl-14-(5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)tetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-5-yl]oxidanesulfonic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cardenolides and derivatives. These are steroid lactones containing a furan-2-one moiety linked to the C17 atom of a cyclopenta[a]phenanthrene derivative. (+)-Corotoxigenin 3-O-sulfate is found in Adonis aleppica BOISS. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on [(1S,2R,5S,7S,10R,11S,14R,15R)-2-formyl-11-hydroxy-15-methyl-14-(5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)tetracyclo[8.7.0.0²,⁷.0¹¹,¹⁵]Heptadecan-5-yl]oxidanesulfonic acid.
