Description5-Prenylbutein belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 2'-hydroxychalcones. These are organic compounds containing chalcone skeleton that carries a hydroxyl group at the 2'-position. 5-Prenylbutein is found in Erythrina abyssinica and Glycyrrhiza inflata. 5-Prenylbutein was first documented in 2004 (PMID: 15504437). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on 5-Prenylbutein (PMID: 34770920).
