| Description | (4R)-4-[(3R)-4-hydroxy-3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}but-1-en-1-yl]-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides. Fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides are compounds composed of a mono- or disaccharide moiety linked to one hydroxyl group of a fatty alcohol or of a phosphorylated alcohol (phosphoprenols), a hydroxy fatty acid or to one carboxyl group of a fatty acid (ester linkage) or to an amino alcohol. (6R)-9,10-Dihydroxy-4,7-megastigmadien-3-one-9-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside is found in Opuntia ficus-indica var.saboten . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (4R)-4-[(3R)-4-hydroxy-3-{[(2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}but-1-en-1-yl]-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-one. |
