These are aromatic compounds containing Aromatic compounds containing a cinnamic acid moiety (or a derivative thereof) hydroxylated at the C2 (ortho-), C3 (meta-), or C4 (para-) carbon atom of the benzene ring. Buddlejoside A8 is found in Buddleja japonica, Buddleja japonica Hemsl. and Scrophularia deserti . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5R,6S)-4,5-dihydroxy-6-{[(1S,2S,4S,5S,6S,10S)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-10-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3,9-dioxatricyclo[4.4.0.0²,⁴]Dec-7-en-5-yl]oxy}-2-methyloxan-3-yl (2E)-3-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)prop-2-enoate.
