Flavonoid C-glycosides are compounds containing a carbohydrate moiety which is C-glycosidically linked to the 2-phenylchromen-4-one flavonoid backbone. (-)-Kurilensin B is found in Sasa cernua and Sasa kurilensis var.gigantea. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-5,7-dihydroxy-6-[(2R,3S,4R,5R)-4-hydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)-3-{[(2S,3R,4S,5R)-3,4,5-trihydroxyoxan-2-yl]oxy}oxolan-2-yl]-4H-chromen-4-one. |
