Naphthofurans are compounds containing a furan ring fused to a naphthalene moiety. Furan is a 5 membered- ring aromatic ring with four carbon and one oxygen atoms. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon made up of two fused benzene rings. (+)-Gelomulide G is found in Gelonium multiflorum A. and Gelonium aequoreum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,3R,8R,10S,11R,14S,16S,17R)-14-(acetyloxy)-5,11,15,15-tetramethyl-6-oxo-2,7-dioxapentacyclo[8.8.0.0¹,³.0⁴,⁸.0¹¹,¹⁶]Octadec-4-en-17-yl acetate. |
