Description | 3-[2-O-(beta-D-Xylopyranosyl)-6-O-acetyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy]-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1-benzopyrylium belongs to the class of organic compounds known as anthocyanidin-3-o-glycosides. These are phenolic compounds containing one anthocyanidin moiety which is O-glycosidically linked to a carbohydrate moiety at the C3-position. Cyanidin 3-O-(2-O-beta-xylopyranosyl-6-O-acetyl)-beta-glucopyranoside is found in Camellia reticulata. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 3-[2-O-(beta-D-Xylopyranosyl)-6-O-acetyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy]-5,7-dihydroxy-2-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-1-benzopyrylium. |
