These are terpene molecules containing six isoprene units. Latifoloside C is found in Ilex kaushue, Ilex kudincha and Ilex latifolia THUNB . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl (1S,4aS,6aR,6bS,8aS,10R,12aS,12bS,14bR)-1-hydroxy-10-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S)-5-hydroxy-4-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-3-{[(2S,3R,4R,5R,6S)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-methyloxan-2-yl]oxy}oxan-2-yl]oxy}-2,2,6a,6b,9,9,12a-heptamethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,6a,6b,7,8,8a,9,10,11,12,12a,12b,13,14b-icosahydropicene-4a-carboxylate. |
