DescriptionBarbatusol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diterpenoids. These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. (-)-Barbatusol is found in Coleus barbatus and Salvia przewalskii . (-)-Barbatusol was first documented in 2008 (PMID: 18052178). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Barbatusol (PMID: 34170142) (PMID: 27823632).
