| Description | (2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-2-({[(2R,3S,4R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-6-{[(2E)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides. Fatty acyl glycosides of mono- and disaccharides are compounds composed of a mono- or disaccharide moiety linked to one hydroxyl group of a fatty alcohol or of a phosphorylated alcohol (phosphoprenols), a hydroxy fatty acid or to one carboxyl group of a fatty acid (ester linkage) or to an amino alcohol. Rosarin is found in Juniperus communis, Juniperus phoenicea , Rhodiola rosea L. and Rhodiola sachalinensis . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2R,3R,4S,5R,6R)-2-({[(2R,3S,4R,5R)-3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]oxy}methyl)-6-{[(2E)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-yl]oxy}oxane-3,4,5-triol. |
