DescriptionFumaramine belongs to the class of organic compounds known as isoindolones. These are aromatic polycyclic compounds that an isoindole bearing a ketone. Fumaramine is found in Corydalis thyrsifolia, Fumaria densiflora, Fumaria indica , Fumaria kralikii, Fumaria parviflora Lam. , Fumaria schleicheri Soy-Will., Fumaria vaillantii and Fumaria vaillantii Loisl. . Fumaramine was first documented in 1991 (PMID: 1957677). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Fumaramine.
