DescriptionGusanlung D belongs to the class of organic compounds known as protoberberine alkaloids and derivatives. These are alkaloids with a structure based on a protoberberine moiety, which consists of a 5,6-dihydrodibenzene moiety fused to a quinolizinium and forming 5,6-Dihydrodibenzo(a,g)quinolizinium skeleton. Gusanlung D is found in Arcangelisia gusanlung H.S.Lo. Gusanlung D was first documented in 2009 (PMID: 19214157). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on Gusanlung D (PMID: 32677835).
