Description(7S,9S,10S,11S)-10-ethenyl-11-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-12-oxa-6-thia-3-azatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Tridec-1(13)-en-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as o-glycosyl compounds. These are glycoside in which a sugar group is bonded through one carbon to another group via a O-glycosidic bond. (-)-Xylostosidine is found in Lonicera xylosterum L. and Lonicera xylosteum. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (7S,9S,10S,11S)-10-ethenyl-11-{[(2S,3R,4S,5S,6R)-3,4,5-trihydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)oxan-2-yl]oxy}-12-oxa-6-thia-3-azatricyclo[7.4.0.0³,⁷]Tridec-1(13)-en-2-one.
