Description(1R,3R,6S,8R,12R,15Z,16S)-15-ethylidene-7,7,12,16-tetramethyl-6-(methylamino)pentacyclo[9.7.0.0¹,³.0³,⁸.0¹²,¹⁶]Octadec-10-en-14-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as 16-oxosteroids. These are steroid derivatives carrying a C=O group at the 16-position of the steroid skeleton. (-)-(Z)-Cyclobuxaphylamine is found in Buxus papilosa, Buxus sempervirens and Buxus sempevirens (L.). Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1R,3R,6S,8R,12R,15Z,16S)-15-ethylidene-7,7,12,16-tetramethyl-6-(methylamino)pentacyclo[9.7.0.0¹,³.0³,⁸.0¹²,¹⁶]Octadec-10-en-14-one.
