| Description | 1-{3-[(3-Acetyl-2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-5-methylphenyl)methyl]-2,4,6-trihydroxy-5-[(2S)-2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-en-1-yl]phenyl}-2-methylpropan-1-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as diphenylmethanes. Diphenylmethanes are compounds containing a diphenylmethane moiety, which consists of a methane wherein two hydrogen atoms are replaced by two phenyl groups. Isomallotolerin is found in Mallotus japonicus and Mallotus yaponicus MUELL. ARG.. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 1-{3-[(3-acetyl-2,4-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-5-methylphenyl)methyl]-2,4,6-trihydroxy-5-[(2S)-2-hydroxy-3-methylbut-3-en-1-yl]phenyl}-2-methylpropan-1-one. |
