These are terpene compounds formed by four isoprene units. 2alpha,3alpha-Dihydroxycativic acid is found in Baccharis petiolata and Brickellia veronicaefolia. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3S)-5-[(1S,4aR,6S,7R,8aS)-6,7-dihydroxy-2,5,5,8a-tetramethyl-1,4,4a,5,6,7,8,8a-octahydronaphthalen-1-yl]-3-methylpentanoic acid. |
