Description(2E)-2-{[(2R,4R,4aR,8aR)-4,7-dimethyl-3,4,4a,5,6,8a-hexahydro-2H-1-benzopyran-2-yl]methylidene}-6-methylhept-5-enoic acid belongs to the class of organic compounds known as benzopyrans. These are organic compounds containing a benzene ring fused to a pyran ring. Pyran a six-membered heterocyclic, non-aromatic ring, made up of five carbon atoms and one oxygen atom and containing two double bonds. 2-[(3,4,4a,5,6,8a-Hexahydro-4,7-dimethyl-2H-1-benzopyran-2-yl)methylene]-6-methyl-5-heptenoic acid is found in Eremophila foliosissima. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (2E)-2-{[(2R,4R,4aR,8aR)-4,7-dimethyl-3,4,4a,5,6,8a-hexahydro-2H-1-benzopyran-2-yl]methylidene}-6-methylhept-5-enoic acid.
