| Common Name | Faurinone |
|---|
| Description | Faurinone belongs to the class of organic compounds known as ketones. These are organic compounds in which a carbonyl group is bonded to two carbon atoms R2C=O (neither R may be a hydrogen atom). Ketones that have one or more alpha-hydrogen atoms undergo keto-enol tautomerization, the tautomer being an enol. Faurinone is found in Valeriana officinalis . Faurinone was first documented in 2008 (PMID: 18600830). Based on a literature review a small amount of articles have been published on Faurinone (PMID: 27620498) (PMID: 21327225). |
