Isocedrane is a rearranged cedrane arising from the migration of methyl group moved from the 6-position to the 4-position. Isocedrolic acid is found in Juniperus formosana Hayata. and Juniperus squamata . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1S,2R,5S,7R,8R)-8-hydroxy-6,6,8-trimethyltricyclo[5.3.1.0¹,⁵]Undecane-2-carboxylic acid. |
