These are sesquiterpenoids containing a lactone ring. Arnifolin is found in Arnica foliosa and Arnica montana . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (3aS,4S,4aR,7S,7aS,8R,9aR)-7-hydroxy-4a,8-dimethyl-3-methylidene-2,5-dioxo-dodecahydroazuleno[6,5-b]furan-4-yl (2E)-2-methylbut-2-enoate. |
