| Description | (1'S,2R,2'S,5'S,8'R)-2',3,3,6'-tetramethyl-11'-oxaspiro[oxirane-2,9'-tricyclo[6.2.1.0¹,⁵]Undecan]-6'-en-8'-ol belongs to the class of organic compounds known as guaianes. These are sesquiterpenoids with a structure based on the guaiane skeleton. Guaiane is a bicyclic compound consisting of a decahydroazulene moiety, substituted with two methyl groups and a 1-methylethyl group at the 1-, 4-, and 7-position, respectively. Oxycurcumenol is found in Curcuma heyneana and Curcuma zedoaria . Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on (1'S,2R,2'S,5'S,8'R)-2',3,3,6'-tetramethyl-11'-oxaspiro[oxirane-2,9'-tricyclo[6.2.1.0¹,⁵]Undecan]-6'-en-8'-ol. |
