Description10-[(3S)-3,7-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-yl]-5-methoxy-8,8-dimethyl-2H,8H-pyrano[3,2-g]chromen-2-one belongs to the class of organic compounds known as terpene lactones. These are prenol lipids containing a lactone ring. 5-Methoxy-8,8-dimethyl-10-(3',7'-dimethylocta-1',6'-dien-3'-yl)-2H,8H,benzo[1,2-b:5,4-b']dipyran-2-one is found in Paramignya monophylla. Based on a literature review very few articles have been published on 10-[(3S)-3,7-dimethylocta-1,6-dien-3-yl]-5-methoxy-8,8-dimethyl-2H,8H-pyrano[3,2-g]chromen-2-one.
